The Role
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to join our Product, Engineering & Research team and contribute to our mission of transforming clinical research through data-driven insights.
This is a hybrid role based out of our UK hub, with periodic travel for leadership offsites and board preparation. Exact on-site cadence and travel percentage to be confirmed.
Requirements
- What You’ll Bring
- Typically 6–10 years in roles that reward structured thinking and execution – management consulting, strategy or operations, programme or product management, a prior chief-of-staff role, or a fast-paced startup or scale-up.
- Strong problem-solving: you break down ambiguous problems, structure them, and drive to clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor complex topics to different audiences.
- Exceptionally organised and reliable, able to run multiple workstreams in parallel without dropping details.
- Technical fluency and curiosity around product, engineering, and research topics, with the ability to build trust and influence without formal authority.
- Nice to Have
- Exposure to clinical trials, life sciences, or regulated software environments.
- Experience supporting a senior executive or leadership team.
- Familiarity with OKRs, roadmapping, and modern product and engineering operating models.
