About you / Job Summary
As the Release Manager, you will be responsible for creating, owning, and improving the internal and customerāfacing change process in Clue and ensuring all releases are a success. This includes application updates, patches, security improvements, customerāspecific releases as well as core roadmapāplanned releases. You will work collaboratively with all areas of the business as well as our customers, to ensure a smooth deployment of all technology projects to our customers. You will be intellectually inquisitive and passionate about continuous improvement, resultsāfocused and customerāobsessed, wanting to deliver high customer satisfaction at every step during the release cycle.

Key Accountabilities
- Act as the 'go-to' authority on all matters concerning Release Management at Clue.
- Act as the Change Manager and governor of changes within Clue.
- Lead the GoāLive activities to deploy the software successfully.
- Ensure releases are planned according to the requirements and budget.
- Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule, including customer communications.
- Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
- Flexibility to support outāofāhours working on an ad hoc planned basis to facilitate releases in conjunction with the Support and Platform teams.
- Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notification lists, and dependencies.
- Communicate projectārelated tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams.
- Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the thirdāparty applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.
- Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.
- Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled and quality of the release is not affected.

Experience and skills
Our ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, within a SaaS or technology environment
- Experience of managing and improving change and release processes
- Experience of managing defects, both in production and development environments
- Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL or similar service delivery methodologies with an emphasis on change management
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycles
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, comfortable working with engineers and presenting to leadership
- Processāoriented, can map processes, and conform to best practices.
- Problem solver with a willingness to take ownership of issues to resolve.
- Able to work independently and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
- An understanding and proficiency in working as an active member of an agile development team, and the ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of Scrum.
- Proactive attitude with excellent analytical and problemāsolving skills. Flexible and adaptable to ongoing change.
- Knowledge of configuration management including hardware configurations
- Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous development (CI/CD) systems in Azure.
- Advanced Excel knowledge (dynamic queries, Power Query, linking between sheets / workbooks etc)
