Located on the banks of the Swan River within the heritage-listed grounds of The University of Western Australia, The University Club of Western Australia is a premier venue with over 4,500 members. The Club offers 16 state-of-the-art private function rooms, a fine dining restaurant, and a casual dining café. The Club is seeking a motivated and professional Banquet Supervisor to join its experienced Banquet team. This full-time, hands-on role offers a competitive rate at Award Level 5 Base (£29.38 per hour + loadings) and access to outstanding staff benefits.

The Role

  • Oversee food and beverage staff during multiple functions
  • Support banquet operations in a supervisory capacity
  • Maintain high standards of service and team coordination
  • Work closely with a professional team in a dynamic environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Have extensive operational experience in a banqueting environment, ideally in a 4- or 5-star venue
  • Demonstrate experience in staff training and supervision
  • Show strong leadership and effective communication skills
  • Be able to work independently and take initiative
  • Be adaptable and able to achieve results in a changing environment
  • Be available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Hold an Approved Manager Card (unrestricted) or be willing to obtain one
