Job Purpose
To assist in the daily operations of our skilled Grounds team, helping to ensure the sports facilities are presented and maintained to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- To undertake daily surface maintenance and preparation of the facilities, skillfully operating pedestrian and ride on machinery to maintain the sports surfaces to the best possible standards of presentation.
- To be able to work on your own as well as part of a team.
- To actively contribute to departmental meetings.
- To maintain health and safe working practices at all times.
Whilst full training will be given, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies
Who we are looking for
- Someone with two years' minimum experience in sports maintenance.
- A recognised qualification or wishes to attain one.
- Operates to a very high-quality standard with an eye for detail.
- A conscientious team player with the ability to multi-task.
- A positive attitude and a can-do approach to work.
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.
