Bar Steward Job Specification - Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain stock levels in the bar ensuring proper rotation of stock.
  • Provide a high-quality service to customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Engage with customers and take orders.

Financial and Operational Duties

  • Manage cash handling procedures, and reconcile cash taken and report any discrepancies.
  • Opening up the venue and locking up after closing time.

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Required Skills
