We are a bootstrapped, profitable creator platform building AI‑powered tools that allow creators to launch branded membership products. We’re looking for our first engineering hire to help us push Clubb into its AI‑first next chapter. Our product consists of content hosting, payments, growth tools, and AI features tailored to each creator’s vertical. AI is at the heart of where we’re heading – we build agentic and AI‑powered features that other platforms don’t offer. Our mission is to help creators run one‑person businesses generating millions in revenue. We currently consist of two founders and a growth hire. You will work alongside Rich, our tech co‑founder, and Ben, our product co‑founder.
In this role you will:
- Own areas of the product end to end - sometimes from a prototype, sometimes a design, sometimes neither.
- Talk directly with creators to understand their problems and the features they need most.
- Work across the whole stack: Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, AWS.
- Lead on the agentic and AI‑powered side of the product - the part where most of the new work sits.
- Ship in tight loops: weekly roadmap discussions, rapid AI prototyping, then straight into the code.
- Have real agency - if you design or prototype something worth shipping, it ships to hundreds of thousands of users.
- Live in tools like Cursor, Claude Code and Codex to ship at a pace that wouldn't be possible otherwise.
Your background looks something like:
- At least 3 years of engineering experience at a strong, product‑driven company.
- Shipped agentic or AI‑powered features in production, and dealt with the messy reality of non‑deterministic systems.
- Fluent across the full stack and comfortable working anywhere in it.
- Heavy day‑to‑day use of modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or similar) – you know how to get serious leverage from them.
- Strong judgement about what's worth doing well vs what's worth doing fast.
As a person you:
- Get your thrill from what you can build with code, not what code you can write.
- Are first and foremost a builder – given a vague brief, you figure out what needs to happen and get it shipped.
- Are excited to work in‑person from our London office (minimum 4 days a week).
- Love working in a small, scrappy team where what you ship in the morning is in users' hands by the afternoon.
- Are obsessed with AI – you play with the latest models, follow what's happening in the space, and want to be at the cutting edge of building products on top of LLMs.
- Have a good eye for design – you don't need to be a designer, but you can spot when something looks wrong and know how to make it look right.
- Can hold your own in product conversations and aren't afraid to push back.
What we offer:
- Comp range: £90,000 - £110,000 per year depending on experience (plus bonuses).
- 25 days holiday.
- Location: Minimum 4 days per week in our London office.
