• Salary- £34,000 to £38,000 per year + benefits

As Club Manager at Velocity Padel in Wigan, you will play a key role running the day-to-day operations of the club.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for padel, sport and hospitality to take the next step in their career. You will co-ordinate and manage high level events as well as ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence -

• Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, bookings, and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• You will be the "face" of the club - identifiable to guests as the Club Manager.

Player Experience -

• Help develop strategies to attract and retain customers, creating a strong sense of community and loyalty within the club.
• Oversee player services, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all players and guests.

Operational Support -

• Manage the day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, inventory management and facility maintenance.

Event Co-Ordination -

• Planning and operation of events, tournaments and promotional activities to drive engagement and participation within the padel community.

Food & Beverage Operations -

• Oversee the F&B and retail operations, ensuring quality products and services are offered to players and guests.
• Leverage natural sales talent and strong interpersonal skills to drive and maximize ancillary revenues. This will be achieved through implementing effective retail sales strategies and techniques within the club.

Staff Training and Development -

• Maintain high service standards by training new staff and ensuring all team members comply with company policies and procedures.

Health & Safety Compliance -

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.

Site Maintenance -

• Ensure the club's facilities are consistently well-maintained and presentable by overseeing and co-ordinating all site maintenance. This includes managing cleaning schedules and court care.
