The Role

Due to ongoing growth, we’re excited to be looking for a People Partner to join the People and Culture Team at Club L London. Working closely with the Head of People and Culture, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the people strategy for your allocated departments across the business.

From day-one, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the role covering everything from providing end-end support on employee relations issues, recruitment and retention, talent development, engagement, EDI strategies and more!

Roles And Responsibilities

  1. Partner with department leaders to provide support and coaching on how to address any people-related queries effectively to enhance engagement and performance within teams.
  2. Manage employee relations (ER) cases, providing expert guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace policies to ensure fair and effective resolutions.
  3. Enhance employee engagement, embedding Club L’s culture and values while driving initiatives that foster inclusion, recognition, and belonging.
  4. Lead talent development programmes, coaching leaders and supporting career growth across your allocated departments.
  5. Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies, ensuring strong pipelines across the business. Complete interview, onboarding and induction processes with new starters in your allocated departments.
  6. Regularly check in with staff at all levels within your allocated teams to ensure they are happy, secure and motivated.
  7. Leverage HR data and reports to inform decision-making and continuously improve people strategies.
  8. Work with the other People Partner to share themes and trends and collaboratively build plans to drive further efficiency within the People Team and cultural improvement across the business as a whole.

More About You

  1. Experience working within a fashion/retail/e-commerce environment preferable but not essential.
  2. Proven generalist HR and/or HR business partnering experience in a fast-paced, high-growth or progressive environment.
  3. Good understanding of UK employment laws and processes, and ability to stay up to date with changes/industry trends.
  4. Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems.
  5. Excellent relationship building and communication, with the ability to move between listening to, guiding and coaching others at all levels.
  6. Demonstrates Club L’s core values of collaboration, creativity and confidence.
