The Role

We are looking for a professional office housekeeper with high integrity and attention to detail, to ensure all office areas are kept to a high clean, organised standard. Maintaining a sanitary office environment by performing daily cleaning tasks, maintaining common areas, and managing supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Cleaning: Dust, polish, vacuum, and mop office floors, kitchens, desks, meeting rooms, and walkways.
  • Office Events: Support the People & Culture team with set-up of any office events.
  • Kitchenette/Breakroom Care: Clean and sanitize counters, sinks. Clean coffee machines and ensure fridges are tidy and free of expired food.
  • Waste Management: Empty all trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and recycling compliance.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, snack drawer, coffee, tea, and advise what needs to be ordered.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, such as broken light fixtures, damaged furniture, or safety hazards.

Requirements and Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience as a commercial cleaner or housekeeper is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to notice areas requiring cleaning and maintain high office standards.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work on feet for long periods.
  • Professionalism: Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or with little supervision.
  • Organisation: Strong time management skills to complete tasks within working hours.

Work Environment

Working hours 1pm – 9pm onsite. We are based in Trafford Park so public transport is limited. Requires compliance with safety regulations regarding the use of chemical cleaners.
