Assistant Management Accountant supporting the Finance Team, based in Trafford Park, Manchester. Full support of the busy finance department ensuring accurate and timely management accounts and line‑management of a small team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the continuous improvement of month‑end processes
- Responsible for all HMRC & statutory filings including VAT returns & PAYE submissions
- Oversee worldwide tax and regulatory compliance
- Assist on reporting contribution by location
- Support on Business Partnering departments across the business
- Support with statutory accounts
- Manage and submit UK and EU tax returns
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly Group Management Accounts & Board Pack submission to stakeholders
- Provide ad‑hoc reporting and analysis
- Support annual financial audit
- CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Advanced Excel skills
- Minimum 5 years’ finance or industry departmental experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work with colleagues
- Results‑driven and detail‑oriented
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
