Join Our Tumble Tots Team in Sheffield
Part-time Class Leader | Sheffield | Term-time only
Do you enjoy working with young children? Are you enthusiastic, energetic and looking for a rewarding, hands‑on role?
Tumble Tots Huddersfield & Sheffield is looking for someone special to join our small, friendly team.
You’ll help children develop balance, coordination, strength, confidence and independence through our fun, structured physical activity classes.
Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll receive full training to support children on our equipment, teach movement skills and gradually progress to leading classes.
This is a busy, physically active role! You’ll be setting up equipment, lifting, bending, kneeling, demonstrating activities and encouraging children throughout the day. You’ll need plenty of energy, patience, a sense of fun and a willingness to get stuck in!
Working hours
Tuesday: 9am-2.30pm, Endcliffe, Sheffield
Thursday: 9am-1.15pm, Crookes, Sheffield (from January 2027)
Monday: 9am-2.30pm, Grenoside, Sheffield - required for approximately six weeks of initial training, with opportunities for additional cover hours thereafter.
Regular hours: 9 hours 45 minutes per week, term-time only.
As a small team, we support each other by providing cover for holidays and absences, so some flexibility to work additional hours, particularly on Mondays or Fridays, would be an advantage.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Friendly, confident and enthusiastic.
Reliable, punctual and a great team player.
Comfortable with the physical demands of the job.
Able to engage with young children and their parents.
Happy to sing, demonstrate activities and have fun!
Experience with young children would be helpful, but full training is provided and no formal qualifications are required.
You’ll need your own transport, be available for the stated hours and be able to work without bringing your own children. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
