About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Surveyor to join our clients dynamic Facilities Management team.
This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing property and asset management, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality surveying services across our estate.
You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the value, safety, and functionality of facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage property inspections, condition surveys, and lifecycle assessments.
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies.
- Provide expert advice on building fabric, M&E systems, and statutory compliance.
- Manage refurbishment, fit-out, and capital works projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and value for money.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Support the development of asset management strategies and contribute to long-term estate planning.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline (RICS accreditation desirable).
- Proven experience in a similar surveying role within the FM or property sector.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislation, and compliance standards.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
