We are currently recruiting for a Master Fitter & Builder to join our established Studio in Glasgow. You would be joining a UK team of fitters who boast great tenure and experience, and you would be joining a worldwide company with over 600+ employees.

JOB SUMMARY: Master Fitters & Builders work one-on-one with customers to provide a tour-level club fitting experience. This position presents tour-level club fitting services through providing in-depth club fitting knowledge while also possessing the interpersonal skills to sell relationally to our clients. Master Fitters are also responsible for building networks, managing customer relationships, and assisting with all store operations as required by their manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conducts innovative tour-level fitting experiences
  • Read, interpret, and explain data points in the club fitting process
  • Oversee customer relations by growing and maintaining the fittings for their studio and personal clients
  • Maintain brand standards by keeping workplace up to studio standards
  • Operate technology including, but not limited to: Trackman, Salesforce, Sam Putt Lab, and Microsoft Office
  • Builds golf clubs to tightest tolerances in the industry
  • Utilise relational selling methods to grow business metrics
  • Communicate with current and potential customers to help keep and grow the studio’s customer base
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate

The Ideal candidate will either come from a sales background or have the confidence to speak openly with customers, in what is a sales environment. A top-level golf background is not essential, but you must be a passionate golf enthusiast as your working world will be golf golf golf. When not custom fitting, there is a requirement to complete sales related Admin, goods in and out procedures, equipment builds and repairs, and pro-active sales activity which will be mainly phone and email based. Although full training will be provided on all of these elements, some prior experience would be desired. The successful candidate will be required to complete a 4-week training course in our company head office, which is situated in Willowbrook, Chicago in the United States.

COMPENSATION

The annual salary for the position is £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience. This job is also eligible for 2.1% Commission and an annual Performance Bonus. The role is a 5-day working week, spread over the 7-day week with the potential of occasional evening work.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience with club fitting and launch monitors required
  • 1+ years in sales experience required
  • Experience selling custom golf clubs preferred
