Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Work with Team Leader and others as required to schedule and coordinate work activities.
  • Travel to customer locations in EMEA and AP region. Estimated travel at least 35%.
  • Carry out system installations.
  • Provide technical support to customers and dealers.
  • Handle all paperwork or electronic documents related to the job including but not limited to work orders, parts orders and quotes for repair.
  • Inspect, test and repair all Club Car Connectivity products according to original manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maintain Company and personal tools in good operating condition at all times.
  • Interact directly with customers and effectively communicate service and repair needs.
  • Follow process method sheets to ensure assembly is performed in accordance with specified quality techniques.
  • Perform various installation or assembly of electrical and general hardware as instructed by lead person and/or designated associate.
  • Conduct a final inspection to ensure proper installation or assembly of parts.
  • Accompany territory sales representative when needed to provide technical assistance.
  • Conduct regional technical training seminars at least once a year.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications For The Job:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent.
  • Some mechanical/electrical knowledge and experience repairing electronics is preferred.
  • Experience keeping accurate inventory of parts and tools.
  • Golf industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license clear of any violations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing throughout day.
  • Requires occasional lifting of objects less than 25 pounds as well as occasional lifting of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
  • Requires use of protective clothing.
