Cluaran Care is looking to recruit experienced Team Leaders for a permanent position, working at our Glasgow and Lanarkshire office. If you have caring experience, then we would like to hear from you. The role will involve supervising the team and occasionally supporting vulnerable adults within their homes and community.
Responsibilities:
- On-call.
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Clients, when required, with all aspects of daily living.
- Support in training and supervision of junior and new Staff Members in all aspects of their work.
- Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional, and spiritual).
- Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Clients retain their comfort and dignity.
- Complete, observe, & review care planning needs for Clients, and complete written daily records as instructed and in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
- Carry out regular checks on Clients at intervals determined by senior Staff Members.
- Build up new runs.
Successful candidates will have:
- A current PVG or be willing to join the scheme.
- SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) membership or be willing to join the scheme.
- A can-do, positive attitude.
- Be kind, caring, and strive to provide the highest level of care and support possible to vulnerable service users.
- The ability to confidently work alone and as part of a wider team.
- Be able to work using your own initiative.
- Car driver - required.
- Due to the nature of the role, experience in care is preferred.
- You will need to hold N/SVQ2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.
