Responsibilities

  • Lead the Security Reporting and Metrics team, driving innovation and ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities and alignment to the IT Security function.
  • Lead transformation programs and implement robust reporting and analytics solutions that establish a strong foundation for the IT Security function.
  • Identify and prioritize Security Reporting and Metrics initiatives, tailoring work and programs to the organisation’s specific needs.
  • Leverage core tools and solutions such as business intelligence and data visualisation tools to provide actionable insights into the security posture.
  • Report on team performance and project progress to senior management, translating technical insights.
  • Represent the team in governance forums or committees, providing expert input and driving outcomes.
  • Understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements, compliance and industry standards as they pertain to Security Reporting and Metrics.
  • Direct measurement, monitoring and reporting of security risks and performance, ensuring transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and oversee monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for all IT Security‑owned processes and services, defining performance criteria and setting benchmarks.
  • Provide periodic reporting to IT Security leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting methodologies, data visualisation and communication strategies.
  • Oversee and foster strategic collaboration with multiple departments and teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency and relevance in all security reporting.

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of experience in security reporting, risk management or data analytics, including 8-10 years in a leadership or management role focused on security reporting and metrics.
  • Experience leading teams to adhere to operational and compliance standards within highly regulated environments.
  • Experience reporting on team performance and project progress to senior management and translating technical insights.
  • Experience representing teams in governance forums or committees and driving outcomes.
