Job Information

  • Functional Title: Senior Associate, Operations Static Data

  • Reports To: Vice President, Operations Static Data

What you will be doing

  • Support the Operations Static Data function, monitoring mailbox, action urgent items, and provide timely responses.
  • Liaise with Members, Liquidity Providers, Central Banks, RTGS system operators and Nostros regarding testing and trialing activities, failure of processes/systems and day to day operational processes.
  • Creating testing and trialing scripts
  • Inputting Settlement Member and Liquidity Provider static data
  • Providing secondary level support monitoring the settlement service during the funding and settlement window and escalating any non-performance, ensuring settlement and funding completes within the set deadlines
  • Providing secondary level support monitoring key deadlines, including opening / closing of RTGS systems and service specific timeline activities, ensuring successful completion against expectations.
  • Provide excellent client service to CLS' existing and potential customers.
  • Adhere to the CLS policies & procedures, including Compliance guidelines and maintaining a thorough knowledge of OFAC and AML requirements.
  • Providing secondary level support monitoring the CLS production and testing (JAS) services – when required.
  • Support the CLS test services in-line with current live operational procedures, working closely with other departments to ensure all User Acceptance Testing and project work is performed and delivered on time.
  • Develop strong relationships with other key departments within CLS. This includes Operations Management, CLS On-boarding, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Client Engagement.
  • Follow established policies and procedures and contribute to implementing new policies and procedures as required.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of the Operations Strategy and Continuous Improvement Plan.
  • Provide support and Operational input to the key CLS Strategic Initiatives as required.

What we’re looking for

  • Working knowledge and understanding of SWIFT network and terminology.
  • Experience providing key operational services, preferably in a global environment.
  • Experience with dealing with customers and other third parties directly.
  • Experience with (complex) query resolution.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft, including Windows and Office.
  • Experience working with trouble ticketing / problem management system (desirable).
  • Experience working with Service Now application (desirable).
  • Strong administrative and multi-tasking ability.
  • Professional qualifications / certifications
  • Strong academic background, preferably in Finance, Economics or Math.
