Graphic/Illustrator Designer – Student Placement (6 months, unpaid, on‑site in Liverpool).

Responsibilities

  • Produce trend boards, illustrations, product designs, and artwork across print and digital media.
  • Create textile designs, application mock‑ups, packaging/cutter guides, catalogues, social‑media content, and website graphics.
  • Deliver presentations and product mock‑ups for internal and client review.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and collaborate closely with senior designers.
  • Support the team through tight deadlines and ongoing feedback cycles.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Procreate and strong illustration ability.
  • Adaptation to brand guidelines and house style across multiple output channels.
  • Demonstrated experience producing artwork for web and print.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliable time‑keeping, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to deliver quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Graphic design background and efficient use of Apple Macs.
  • Background in fashion is a bonus.

Working Conditions

  • Contract length: 6 months (unpaid, on‑site).
  • Schedule: 5 days a week, 8:45am to 5:30pm.
  • Location: Liverpool studio; no remote work allowed.
  • Eligibility: BA students only; must be able to commute or relocate to Liverpool.
