Our business has evolved enormously over the last 16 years, from 18 year old Matt at his parents’ home to the multi award-winning, multi-million pound, industry leading company we are today. We’re proud to be the most in-demand and highest-rated events company in the country… and we plan to keep it that way. That reputation and demand means we’re growing fast and our AV department is scaling too!

We’re looking for a confident Technical Project Manager to help grow our AV offering and deliver exceptional, end-to-end events for clients across London and beyond. You’ll focus on building long-term relationships with new and existing clients, turning ideas into AV solutions and taking full ownership of projects from sale through to on-site delivery. You’ll work closely with our team to create seamless experiences and play a key role in shaping our growing AV department.

If you’ve got a knack for asking the right questions, spotting opportunities and making clients feel excited and supported, you’ll thrive here. We’re after a warm team player who can close a deal, deliver confidently and work with integrity. Someone who can win work and win trust.

What a Day Might Look Like:
  • Receiving enquiries over the phone or email and selling AV and production solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Take briefs, understand client objectives, and translate them into clear, technically viable proposals and quotes.
  • Project Management: Own projects from concept to completion, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to our high standards.
  • Manage events end-to-end (from sale to delivery) – selecting the right equipment, team, and resources for each job.
  • Overseeing large-scale events hand in hand with our Operations Team and ensuring flawless event delivery.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
  • Maintain excellent communication, both written and over the phone – professional, calm, and solutions-focused.
  • Establishing relationships with suppliers who we’ll trust to help us deliver our 5-star events.
  • Lead onsite delivery of AV projects, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client experience.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues confidently in fast-paced event environments.
  • Represent Clownfish on-site as a trusted technical expert.
  • Meeting a client onsite at their office or venue, and showing up prepared and on-top of every detail.
Team Leadership (within 12 months):
  • As our AV department grows, you’ll take on line management of 2-3 junior technicians.
  • Support their development, workload, training and progression.
  • Help improve our AV processes.
  • Add to and maintain department culture.

Reports to: Operations Director.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, standard business hours – flexibility required on event days.
Location: Office-based, with Fridays WFH after onboarding. Occasional on-site on events throughout Greater London.
Bonus: Annual profit share if company targets are hit.
