Clow Group Ltd are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering team at the UK's leading access specialist. This is a key leadership role, responsible for engineering compliance, people management and continuous improvement across the entire engineering department.
- Lead, manage and develop the engineering team
- Liaise with our Departmental Managers, Clients, Architects, Engineers and Contractors
- Manage engineering budgets, cost control and assist with the purchasing of materials
- Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering role
- Extensive knowledge of Mechanical/Structural Engineering principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation and engineering compliance requirements
- Ability to take contracts from quotation stage through to final handover/commissioning
- Degree (or equivalent) in Structural/Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering disciplines
- Knowledge of CAD Systems (AutoCad/Solidworks)
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Strong commercial awareness
