Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Carers Count Calderdale. The aim of the service is to promote, support and improve the mental, physical and emotional well‑being of unpaid adult carers in Calderdale, so they can continue in their caring role, look after their own health and well‑being and have a life of their own.
Responsibilities
The support worker will support unpaid carers with a range of issues, including carers rights, debt, housing, welfare benefits, employment and education. This post has a focus on unpaid carers caring for an individual over 18 and will provide specialist one‑to‑one support and activities. The support worker will work in conjunction with other staff of the service and will assist in the coordination and development of the service.
