The predicted salary is between 26226 - 27500 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our advocacy service in Derbyshire. The role will involve providing face-to-face support to people and supporting them at meetings with professionals. The primary focus will be on IMHA/Care Act work, with a requirement to carry out other advocacy roles in line with service demand.
For people who lack the capacity to make specific decisions, you will obtain and share their views with health or social care professionals involved in making best‑interest decisions on their behalf. Your role will include representing people who are subject to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and supporting people through safeguarding processes.
This role includes supporting people of all ages. You will work with people with dementia, learning disabilities, autistic people, people with physical and sensory impairment, people with an acquired brain injury, and those with a mental health need. You will work with people who live in care settings, in their own homes, and in mental health units.
