Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-2pm, 32 hours per week

Clover Talent are exclusively partnered with an established and growing Commercial Finance Brokerage to find a hungry and driven Account Manager / Business Development Executive to join their existing sales team. The business has built a strong team of 12+ people and has ambitious plans for continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career within financial services, with a clear progression path from AM/BDE through to BDM and Senior BDM.

The Role:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to SMEs and business owners across the UK
  • Identify funding requirements and create new business opportunities
  • Introduce clients to commercial finance solutions
  • Develop relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers
  • Discuss solutions including business loans, asset finance, invoice finance, property finance and working capital
  • Qualify opportunities and pass them through to experienced finance brokers
  • Build knowledge across the commercial finance market
  • Manage and follow up opportunities through the sales process
  • Work towards individual and team targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up consistently
  • Progress towards managing your own opportunities and client relationships

  • 1-2+ years' sales experience within a target-driven environment
  • Confident and comfortable making a high volume of calls
  • Hungry, competitive and motivated by earning commission
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Energetic, charismatic and personable
  • Resilient and comfortable working in an outbound sales environment
  • Commercially minded with a strong work ethic
  • Ambitious and keen to progress
