Location: Northampton

Clover Talent are working with an established business finance brokerage to find an experienced Senior Finance Broker to join their team. This is a senior position for someone with a strong background in asset finance or commercial finance, who has a proven track record of generating new business and can manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion.

The Finance Broker role is supported by an in-house marketing function generating leads, alongside the expectation that you will build your own pipeline through new business activity and relationship development.

  • Manage and convert inbound leads generated through marketing
  • Generate new business through your own network and proactive activity
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and introducers
  • Assess client requirements and structure suitable funding solutions
  • Manage finance applications from enquiry through to completion
  • Build and maintain relationships with lenders
  • Manage your own pipeline and CRM activity
  • Negotiate terms and progress deals efficiently
  • Work towards agreed sales and commission targets
  • Take ownership of your own performance and revenue generation

What we're looking for:

  • At least 3 years experience within asset finance or commercial finance
  • Proven experience generating new business within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of unsecured business lending
  • Experience managing finance applications from enquiry through to completion
  • A proven ability to develop and manage client and introducer relationships
  • A strong track record of achieving sales and commission targets
  • Commercially minded with a strong work ethic
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, driven and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
