Day to day responsibilities of the HR Manager:

  • Create and apply HR policies and industry best practices.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and team expansion efforts.
  • Drive performance evaluations, appraisals, and career development planning.
  • Assess training needs and organise learning and development programs.
  • Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and oversee disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and support wellbeing initiatives.
  • Gather monthly payroll information and coordinate with the external payroll provider.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, contracts, GDPR, and other regulations.
  • Keep personnel records updated and manage HR systems.

Preferred experience of the next HR Manager:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification required: Level 7 preferred or currently studying.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience within a small to mid-sized company.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to identify training needs and manage L&D initiatives.
  • Highly proactive, solutions-driven, and exceptionally organised.
  • Skilled in managing payroll, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Background working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
