Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Whites. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence and guest satisfaction. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for outstanding food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Support the Head Chef in supervising kitchen operations when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
