A high-profile UK organisation is seeking a number of Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) to strengthen its Board through independent oversight, specialist expertise, and constructive support to the leadership team. The organisation operates in a complex, front facing multi-stakeholder environment and is undergoing meaningful strategic and operational development as it moves into its next exciting phase of development.

  • Finance / Risk / Audit / Legal
  • Performance Development / Talent Pathways
  • Commercial / Media / Partnerships
  • Governance / Safeguarding / Regulatory Oversight

What You’ll Do:

  • Support and challenge the Executive team on strategy, governance and performance
  • Provide independent judgement on risk, assurance and resource allocation
  • Help maintain effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Contribute to organisational sustainability, clarity and accountability

Ideal Background:

  • Previous Board or senior governance experience
  • Strong ability to build trust and influence
  • Clear judgement and political awareness
  • Likely experience from sectors such as membership organisations, NFP/charity, community services, regulated environments, leisure or public service

Details:

  • Approx. 2-3 days per month
  • UK-based, flexible location
  • £25,000 per annum + expenses
