This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious organisation within the social and supported housing sector. They are now seeking a Compliance Manager to support the Executive Board in helping to shape governance processes, ensure regulatory standards are met, and improve reporting and decision-making.
You will prepare Board papers, agendas and minutes, manage the annual governance cycle, support audits and assessments, and help embed good practice.
To apply for this role, it is essential that you have experience in social/supported housing or similar highly regulated housing and social community environments. You should be confident with governance, board support and minute-taking and be used to working in a dynamic and diverse environment.
In addition, you should possess excellent communication skills, be highly self-motivated and confident in writing and presenting reports and working at all levels up to board director. You should be organised, pro-active and thrive in continuous systems improvement.
A major part of your role will involve input to the quarterly in-depth Governance Report and Board Pack and all associated ad hoc or regular reports required for all Boards, Committees including the Government Body Regulator or Social Housing. It is therefore highly desirable that you have some knowledge of this sector and that you are used to working with government and regulatory bodies within strict safety and regulatory guidelines.
