Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to join their busy Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will assist the team with the day-to-day financial operations of the identified companies in the group and provide support to the wider team as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager in the smooth operation and reconciliation of the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers for the identified companies within the Group.
- Inputting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
- Processing BACS payments, purchase orders and invoice authorisation.
- Dealing with enquiries relating to purchases and suppliers.
- Generating sales invoices and responding to queries of customers.
- Responsible for the analysis and administrative tasks for the identified companies within the Group.
- Processing monthly CIS and quarterly VAT returns.
- Support the Accounts Manager with any other ad hoc tasks/projects requested.
- To support all other finance functions across the companies.
- Work in line with all procedures and processes and support the audit and continuous improvement of the companies OHSQE integrated management system.
