We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing environment.
As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to support the daily running of the nursery, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive space where children can learn, play, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, play, personal care, and rest periods.
- Build warm and positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment in line with health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to developmental assessments and planning.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to develop your knowledge and skills in early years education.
- Support the nursery team to ensure that each child's individual needs are recognised and met.
- No prior experience is required - enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential.
- Previous experience in a childcare or nursery setting is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated patience, initiative, and care in all interactions with children.
