Clover & Serks Auto Services is a busy, trusted local garage looking for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our team. We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician with solid motor trade experience who can work independently, manage their workload efficiently, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a professional standard.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of makes and models
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Perform repairs to engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission and electrical systems
  • Carry out air conditioning servicing and re-gassing
  • Conduct MOT testing and MOT preparation work (if qualified)
  • Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and health and safety standards
  • Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Assist and support other technicians when required

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle makes and models
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools and workshop machinery
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MOT Testing Licence advantageous but not essential
  • Air conditioning experience preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Pay: £32,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
