We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to an 84-year-old gentleman in his own home in Newbury. The individual has Lewy Body Dementia and kidney failure, and requires consistent, person-centred support to maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life. This is a Monday to Sunday rota-based position, with shifts provided in advance. You will be paid weekly. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in someone's daily life while developing your skills within complex care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in line with the individual's care plan
- Support with all aspects of personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Provide safe moving and handling support, including use of hoists where required
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with training and care plans
- Monitor and report changes in the individual's physical condition
