We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a 47-year-old lady in her own home in Thorp. The individual has complex health needs following a brain tumour and stroke, and requires support with PEG feeding, epilepsy management, seizure support, and oral suctioning. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, skilled, and compassionate care within a home setting, ensuring safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. This role operates on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday), with both day and night shifts available. Shifts are provided in advance and paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care in line with the individuals care plan
- Provide all aspects of personal care with dignity and respect
- Support with PEG feeding and PEG care in line with training and protocols
- Support safe and effective epilepsy and seizure management, responding promptly to seizure activity
- Carry out oral suctioning as required
