We are looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers / Complex Carers to join an established 24-hour care package supporting an individual in their own home.
The Role
This is an ongoing opportunity offering regular day and night shifts , working as part of a dedicated nurse-led care team .
You will always work alongside a nurse while on shift , providing reassurance and support while delivering safe, person-centred care.
Alongside clinical care, you'll support personal care, comfort, repositioning and everyday activities, helping to maintain dignity, choice and quality of life.
You'll need to be confident following detailed care plans and clinical protocols, recognising changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriately.
Key Clinical Experience
The package includes a range of complex clinical needs, including:
24-hour invasive ventilation
Tracheostomy care , including suction and airway management
Emergency procedures in line with the individual's care plan and training
TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) support and monitoring
RIG medication administration
Diabetes care and monitoring
Suprapubic catheter care
Colostomy / stoma care
Medication administration and accurate documentation
Monitoring observations and recognising signs of deterioration
Infection prevention and control
Personal care, repositioning and comfort
Supporting activities of daily living
