We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team supporting a gentleman living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) in Woodbridge, Suffolk. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a background in domiciliary care who wants to make a real difference while developing their experience within complex care. The Role Your role will be to provide additional support during scheduled visits, working with a Support Worker, particularly with moving and handling, personal care and day-to-day support. You will help ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully and in a way that promotes the client's comfort, dignity, independence and quality of life. Working Hours Monday–Friday * 09:00–10:30 * 16:00–17:30 * 21:30–22:30 Saturday * 10:00–11:30 * 16:30–18:00 Sunday * 10:30–12:00 * 16:30–18:00 What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who has experience in domiciliary care or a similar care environment, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred support. You should be: * Caring, compassionate and respectful * Reliable and dependable * Comfortable providing personal care * Confident working as part of a team * Willing to learn and develop your skills * Comfortable supporting with moving and handling * Able to follow care plans and instructions carefully * Patient and respectful of the client's communication and individual needs An Opportunity to Develop Your Skills This role could be an excellent opportunity for a domiciliary carer looking to take the next step into complex care.
