Role Description:

This is a part-time, on-site position based in Bracknell, supporting a service user with acquired brain injury. The role is primarily to provide companionship and structured weekend support, ensuring meaningful engagement and promoting a safe, stable environment.

Shifts available:

  • Saturday & Sunday, 10:00-18:00
  • Additional cover during bank holidays and when the weekday carer is on annual leave

The client is largely independent with personal care, cooking, and cleaning, but needs support with routine, structure, and safe decision-making. Staff will be required to accompany the service user on outings and activities, which may include:

  • Walking, cycling, using his home gym
  • Shopping, meals out, attending festivals
  • Visiting family

Qualifications:

  • Experience providing personal care and structured support in complex care package/private service users home
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
  • Must have the right to work in the UK - we do not offer sponsorship
  • Confident in following care plans, including administering medication and monitoring wellbeing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider care team
  • Empathetic, patient, and reliable with a focus on building positive client relationships
  • Minimum 6 months’ recent experience in a healthcare or support role within the UK
