We are seeking caring and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to support a 34-year-old lady in her own home in Felixstowe. The individual lives with Cerebral Palsy and requires support with personal care, mobility assistance, medication administration, and participation in community activities. The focus of this role is to promote independence while ensuring safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
This role operates on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday), with both day and night shifts available. Shifts are provided in advance and paid weekly.
Responsibilities- Deliver person-centred care tailored to the individual's needs
- Support with all aspects of personal care
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling
- Administer medication in accordance with care plans
- Support with daily living activities and community access
- Monitor health and wellbeing and report concerns promptly
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Complete care records and documentation accurately
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe home environment
- Liaise effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- At least 6 months UK care experience required
- Experience supporting individuals with neurological or physical disabilities is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, patient, and reliable approach
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
