We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to a wonderful female service user based in central Reading. The service user has complex care needs, and experience in Jejunostomy and Non-invasive ventilation is essential, requiring the support of two complex care workers on 12-hour day shifts. The ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in Complex Care and more. You will be working on a full-time rota which will be given to you 3 months in advance, and you will be paid weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions in accordance with care plans
  • Non Invasive Ventilation
  • Jejunostomy
  • Epilepsy experience
  • Driving within the community
  • Manual Handling and Hoist procedures
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Drive clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring safety at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in Care or Complex Care is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of patient care practices
