Learning Disabilities Support Worker Opportunity

Clover Care Group Ltd is seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Support Workers who have learning disabilities experience, to join a dedicated care team supporting a young adult with additional needs in his beautiful family home which is large and modern.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to deliver meaningful, person-centred care empowering independence while ensuring safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide tailored 1:1 or 2:1 support both within the home and in the community. You will play a vital role in creating a calm, structured, and supportive environment.

Due to the nature of the role, which includes providing personal and intimate care, this position is open to female applicants only. This is in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, relating to genuine occupational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised care and support in line with individual needs
  • Assist with daily routines, including personal care and hygiene
  • Encourage engagement in positive, structured activities
  • Support with meal times and safe eating practices
  • Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to signs of anxiety or distress
  • Follow care plans and contribute to a consistent, reassuring environment

About the Individual

You will be supporting a young adult who:

  • Has a learning disability and autism
  • May experience anxiety and benefits from reassurance and consistency
  • Thrives with structure, routine, and patient support
  • Requires close supervision to maintain safety, particularly around eating

Full training and ongoing guidance will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.
