We are looking for dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to support a 76-year-old gentleman in his own home in Tadley. The individual has multiple long-term health conditions, including chronic kidney disease and mobility limitations, and requires compassionate support with everyday living activities to maintain independence and quality of life. This is a Monday to Sunday rota-based position, with shifts provided in advance. You will be paid weekly. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build experience within complex care while delivering outstanding support in a one-to-one setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care
- Support with personal care and daily living activities
- Assist with medication administration following training
- Support with mobility and moving and handling requirements
- Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
- Assist with meals, hydration, and nutrition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Support attendance at medical appointments when necessary
- Complete relevant documentation and daily records
Experience & Requirements
- At least 6 months UK care experience required
- Experience in complex care advantageous
- Understanding of chronic health conditions desirable
- Strong commitment to person-centred care
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
- Compassionate and professional approach
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
