Live-In Complex Care Worker Spinal Injury 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | Female Carers Required | Complex Care Experience Essential Clover Care Group is looking for an experienced female Complex Care Worker to join a dedicated live-in care package supporting a client with a high-level spinal cord injury and complex care needs.

The Role * Live-in care 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off * Female care staff required * Support for a client with a significant spinal cord injury * Suprapubic catheter care * Client manages their own bowel care * Client can mobilise and self-transfer but may be unsteady * Respiratory monitoring and support * Positioning and pressure-area prevention * Monitoring for respiratory deterioration or infection * Working alongside the wider care team and following an individualised care plan Key Clinical Experience Due to the level of the spinal injury, the client is at significant risk of Autonomic Dysreflexia, which can develop rapidly and become a medical emergency.

You must be confident recognising AD, understanding potential triggers such as bladder, bowel, skin and pressure-related issues, carrying out preventative checks, monitoring blood pressure and following an emergency protocol promptly.

The client also has respiratory needs, including a restricted cough reflex and a history of chest infections.
