We help our customers use Microsoft 365 confidently, securely and effectively. You will join a dynamic, growing team where your work has a direct and visible impact on our customers.
Purpose of the Role:
To plan and deliver Microsoft 365 migration projects from initial technical discovery through to cutover, testing and handover. You will take ownership of assigned migrations, communicate clearly with customers and work with colleagues to ensure each project is delivered securely, accurately and with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather technical information and confirm migration scope, dependencies, risks and customer requirements.
- Prepare clear migration plans, checklists, schedules and customer communications.
- Configure Microsoft 365 tenants, domains, identities, licences, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint and device settings as required.
- Migrate email, files and collaboration data using approved tools and CloudyIT processes.
- Complete pre-migration checks, pilot activity, cutover tasks, validation and post-migration support.
- Apply CloudyIT security and technical standards throughout each project.
- Maintain accurate project records, technical notes and handover documentation.
- Keep customers and internal stakeholders informed of progress, issues, decisions and next steps.
- Identify and elevate technical risks or blockers at the appropriate stage.
- Work with the support desk to ensure a smooth transition into ongoing support.
What We Are Looking For:
- Practical experience of Microsoft 365 administration, migration projects or a similar technical delivery role.
- Good working knowledge of Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Confidence troubleshooting identity, mail flow, permissions, DNS and data migration issues.
- A structured and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical matters in plain English.
- Organised and dependable, able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A full UK driving licence for occasional customer site visits.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, MD-102 or SC-300.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access and device onboarding.

This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in Microsoft 365 migration planning and delivery. As your experience develops, you may choose to build a specialism in areas such as complex migrations, customer onboarding, tenant configuration or Microsoft 365 security. Development will be shaped around business needs, your strengths and your career interests, with support to work towards relevant Microsoft skills and certifications.
Working Pattern:
Based at our Buckingham office, with flexibility for remote working. Occasional travel to customer offices may be required, with reasonable notice and expenses covered.
Pay and Benefits:
Salary will be agreed based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience and suitability for the role, and will be reviewed annually.
- A range of staff benefits, which we will be happy to talk through at interview.
- Training and development opportunities aligned to the role and future specialisms.
