School Librarian Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent. Location: South London. Salary: £30,120 – £30,522 per annum. Agency: CloudStone Education Services. Are you a passionate reader with a love for fostering a learning environment? Do you have experience managing library resources, supporting students\’ reading development, and creating an engaging atmosphere for learning? We are seeking a dedicated School Librarian to join our team at a dynamic school in South London. Key Responsibilities: Manage, organize, and supervise the library, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain learning resources and report any ICT issues to the relevant team. Create and sustain a professional, stimulating, and tidy learning environment. Advise students on the use, provision, and development of learning resources. Collaborate with the English team to organize Book Week and events with authors. Coordinate author visits with the English team to promote reading and writing. Facilitate reading groups for students identified by the Literacy Coordinator. Work with the Literacy Coordinator on library budget and book/equipment purchases. Encourage library use across the curriculum at Key Stage 3/4.
