Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching and Learning Support Assistants to join the team at a well-regarded secondary school in North London, starting ASAP

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching or for individuals with relevant experience working in a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing in-class support during lessons, form time, and break periods
  • Leading or assisting with specific long-term projects or short-term learning activities
  • Supporting teaching staff with monitoring, assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress and development
  • Helping to ensure all pupils are fully included in the school community and learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with SEND pupils and an understanding of different learning needs (Desirable but not essential)
  • The ability to support students in various settings: 1:1, in small groups, and within the classroom
  • A friendly, professional, and proactive approach to supporting students and staff
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The confidence to use your initiative and act as a positive role model for students
