We're seeking a technically fluent product marketer who can translate complex DevOps and software supply chain concepts into compelling content that wins developer trust and accelerates revenue.

About Cloudsmith: Cloudsmith is transforming how organizations handle software artifacts and secure their supply chains. As a fully managed multi‑tenant SaaS platform, we enable organizations to build software better, through best‑in‑class artifact management and software supply chain security. Our vision is to become the software supply chain itself, powering the future of software delivery. We are the world's most potent artifact management platform, built by developers for developers. Our platform supports over 30 formats spanning languages, container formats, and operating systems, with enterprise‑grade features, including vulnerability and security scanning, world‑class policy management and enforcement, and web‑scale to handle the Fortune 500.

Organizations integrate Cloudsmith as critical infrastructure into their development, deployment, and distribution pipelines, trusting us to protect and accelerate, no matter the scale. Backed by top‑tier investors and on a trajectory toward IPO and beyond, we're building mission‑critical infrastructure that powers software delivery for organizations worldwide. We operate at the cutting edge of cloud‑native technology, tackling complex distributed systems challenges that directly impact millions of developers.

The Role: We're looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This is a high‑impact, high‑ownership role where you'll be the person who translates our product strategy and positioning into the assets, programs, and content that moves deals forward and builds our brand with developers and DevOps teams. You'll be part of our product marketing team, helping execute our messaging strategy, competitive positioning, and analyst relations to produce external content that tells the Cloudsmith story through one‑pagers, customer testimonials, ecosystem stories, case studies, web copy, battlecards, ad copy, and on‑demand demos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the full suite of sales collateral: one‑pagers, technical data sheets, competitive battlecards, and slide decks.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand where they're winning, losing, and what they need.
  • Own partner narratives and 'better together' positioning strategy and subsequent content creation to help tell those stories.
  • Script, record, and maintain an up‑to‑date library of on‑demand product demos.
  • Translate technical product capabilities into compelling, audience‑appropriate narratives.
  • Own the copy for product pages, solution pages, and integration/ecosystem pages.
  • Write for a technical audience: developers, DevOps engineers, platform teams.
  • Work from our messaging framework and collaborate across the product marketing team on positioning accuracy.
  • Execute our better‑together content strategy with partners: integration pages, partner one‑pagers, co‑marketing assets.
  • Create content that resonates with a developer/DevOps practitioner audience (technical use cases, integration guides, audience‑specific messaging).

Required Experience, Qualities & Skills:

  • 3–5 years in product marketing, ideally in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Security.
  • Experience marketing to developers, DevOps engineers, DevSecOps, or platform/infrastructure teams.
  • Track record of owning and shipping content end‑to‑end with minimal hand‑holding.
  • You don't need to be a professional software engineer, but you need to understand how developers work: CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, build tooling, package managers, cloud‑native infrastructure.
  • Comfortable reading technical documentation and translating it into clear, compelling copy.
  • Able to run your own product demos and walk through technical workflows with credibility.
  • You can write for a technical audience and make complex things feel clear and compelling for large audiences.
  • You know how to prioritize, move quickly, and iterate without waiting for perfect.
  • You work well within a messaging framework set by others and can give and receive feedback gracefully.
  • You can manage multiple workstreams and a content pipeline – executing quickly but at a high level of execution.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools (you've used them, not just marketed them).
  • Experience with review site management (G2, Gartner Peer Insights, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the software supply chain, artifact management, or package management space.
  • Experience running on‑demand demo programs.

Cultural Values We're Looking For:

  • Pragmatic Programming: You ship. You understand that perfection is the enemy of good and that a battlecard in a rep's hands today beats a perfect one next quarter. You iterate, adapt, and move forward rather than waiting for ideal conditions.
  • Just Better: While you are able to ship fast, you also can execute at a high‑level and are looking to get better with each iteration. You're never satisfied with 'good enough.'
  • Collective Ownership: You don't say 'that's not my job.' You work across the team with sales, demand gen, product, and ecosystem partners, and you treat the company's success as your own.

Impact & Opportunity: This role offers the chance to shape how the world's most ambitious engineering teams discover, evaluate, and champion Cloudsmith. You'll be helping to build the technical narrative that puts Cloudsmith in front of the developers and DevOps teams who need us most, and gives them every reason to trust us with their most critical infrastructure.

Benefits, Location & Work Environment:

  • Note: You must be based in Ireland, the United Kingdom, or the USA and have the right to work independently without requiring sponsorship.
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous annual leave and flexible working policies to suit your lifestyle.
  • Professional development budget for conferences and training.
  • Dynamic, innovative, trust‑centric, and supportive work environment.
  • Opportunity to shape a fast‑growing Series B startup (and beyond).
  • Regular monthly travel may be required for team meetings.
  • Quarterly travel may also be required for events and customers.

Health and Wellness: Regardless of your location, we deeply care about the health and wellness of our staff and their families; a sustainable pace is important to us. In addition to generous annual leave (PTO), we offer health and wellbeing benefits along with flexible family‑friendly working policies.

Personal Growth: You will have an enormous opportunity to learn new skills alongside your colleagues, and your continued professional development is essential to us because it's important to you. We will support you with budgets for equipment, training, books, conferences, travel, and certifications.

Facilities: Cloudsmith is headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with fully‑equipped office space that’s open 24x7. We use our HQ regularly for activities like working sessions, team planning, meets and greets, and sometimes other group activities (like games!).

About Equal Opportunity: Cloudsmith is an equal‑opportunity employer proud to nurture a diverse workplace that welcomes applications from individuals of all races, genders, and ethnic groups. We do not discriminate on age, religion, sexual orientation, citizenship status, military service, or health conditions. We will not tolerate discrimination of any kind within our workforce.

The Final Word: We're looking for someone who can balance technical depth with creative execution, and who can translate technical product details into clear and compelling narratives and content. We're critical infrastructure by developers / for developers and building the world's software supply chain platform and ecosystem. We want to hear from you if you're excited to build something foundational with a lasting impact on how software is delivered and secured.
