Required Experience, Qualities & Skills
~ 5+ years of professional experience in building, testing, deploying, debugging, and maintaining complex systems in production environments; or equivalent experience in open-source ecosystems and projects
~ A track record of owning significant technical projects end-to-end, from design/RFC through delivery and operating the result in production
~ Proficiency with programming languages such as Python (Django), Golang, Rust, or similar, with the depth to make sound design decisions
~ Familiarity with UNIX-like systems (Linux/WSL/Mac OS)
~ Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, data structures & algorithms, storage systems, source control, and continuous integration
~ You understand the importance of shipping early and often and delivering iteratively
~ You've thrived in a fully remote asynchronous environment
~ An enthusiastic and effective communicator (using English): you should be able to appeal to and communicate with both technical and non-technical listeners alike
