We are seeking a senior cloud architect to join our team that is building cloud services to support the UK's most pressing and interesting security challenges. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of either Amazon Web Services, Azure, GCP, experience in large scale cloud migrations and proficiency in working with customers to understand and solve their cloud and security challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver cloud environments to address customers' challenges.
- Work across a range of greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Deliver technical excellence whilst making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs.
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises.
- Develop, observe and critique cloud security practices.
- Build deep customer relationships in their environment; drive discussions with their technical and operational teams.
- Work with customers and other suppliers to gather and shape requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading large Amazon Web Services implementations or migrations in high-security environments.
- Hands-on expertise in designing and building cloud computing environments running critical workloads.
- Strong presentation and knowledge sharing skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations.
- Able to build relationships with customers, influence their roadmap and challenge established thinking when needed.
- Consulting skills to solve customer problems, and the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Team leadership.
- UK NATIONAL AWS Certifications at Associate or above.
