An Major Global ERP Vendor is seeking an ERP Consultant to deliver high-quality implementation and consultancy services for their ERP software and associated solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project life cycle, from business analysis and system configuration to training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with business primarily in the Manufacturing and Distribution sector.
  • Implement ERP software and related products at client sites across the UK and potentially internationally, ensuring solutions meet agreed project scope.
  • Conduct business process analysis and map client processes to the ERP solution.
  • Prepare and import data into SQL databases and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
  • Deliver tailored training courses covering ERP software and supplementary products.
  • Provide detailed software testing, issue documentation, and technical escalation as needed.
  • Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and technical manuals.
  • Provide telephone and remote support to assist customers with the software.
  • Collaborate with the implementation team and escalate project challenges to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities, including further training or service needs, while on-site with clients.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven knowledge of ERP software and business processes.
  • Experience providing consultancy and implementation to the Manufacturing and Distribution sector.
  • Experience in using SQL Server for scripting and data manipulation.
  • Ability to deliver structured training sessions tailored to client needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with customer-focused decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of payroll applications or scheduling and planning software.
  • Experience with VB scripting, C#, XML, and Windows Servers.
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools and reporting frameworks.
