Location: Central London – Hybrid. Onsite requirements can vary from one customer to another, however 1-2 days per week onsite is normal for our teams, with some customers requiring up to 4 days per week onsite.

SC Clearance Requirements: Due to working with a number of government bodies, SC clearance is required for our customer facing teams. You do not need active SC clearance as we will undertake checks upon you joining, but you must be eligible to pass SC clearance. In future, DV clearance may be required, so the ability/willingness to pass DV clearance is advantageous but not essential.

What We're Looking For: We are looking for AWS Cloud Architects with extensive landing zone knowledge. For us, this means experience of designing and operating enterprise‑scale landing zones within AWS. It also means you need an understanding of the key security risks that are present when operating workloads within AWS and how to design a best practice landing zone to mitigate these risks. We are thought leaders, so our Architects need to be opinionated about IaC structure and modularisation, controls and guardrails, network patterns, and how to architect appropriate and scalable Cloud solutions with the ability to assess trade‑offs with design options.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working closely with our customers’ key stakeholders, designing and providing the technical governance over the delivery of significant workloads on the cloud.
- Defining the infrastructure, network, and security design, along with the design of platform tooling services, and setting the technical standards that define what good looks like for all services, putting checks in place to ensure compliance.
- Understanding complex requirements and designing secure, scalable and resilient platforms on AWS.
- Designing solutions to prevent, detect and remediate key security risks that are present when using AWS.
- Developing and owning the enterprise cloud architecture; evaluating trends and technology.
- Leading client CCoE transformation, establishing RACI models and operational governance.
- Leading the client’s cloud control strategy, aligning metrics, observability, and governance across business.
- Ensuring adherence to Well-Architected principles across the client’s enterprise solutions.
- Overseeing the client’s cost optimisation strategy, whilst ensuring the development of a cost‑aware culture.
- Ensuring the client’s enterprise security strategy, managing risks, compliance, and threat mitigation.
- Setting the technical standards that define what good looks like for all services and putting checks in place to ensure their compliance.
- Designing and delivering workloads using a wide range of AWS services, including AWS Organizations, CloudTrail, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, IAM, and IAM Identity Center.
- Providing technical leadership to cross‑functional teams, defining technical direction and strategy of teams and systems.
