We are a UK based ERP and CRM consultancy specialising in Odoo. We are hiring an experienced, certified Odoo Functional Consultant to support a growing client portfolio. This is a senior delivery role focused on bridging business requirements and solution delivery, leading workshops, shaping solution design, configuring Odoo, and driving adoption through training and go live support. You will operate as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders and work closely with development resources on any required customisations or integrations.
What you will be responsible for:
- Leading discovery and process workshops with operations, finance, sales and leadership teams
- Capturing requirements and producing clear functional specifications, solution designs, and acceptance criteria
- Owning configuration across key Odoo modules, typically CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Project, Helpdesk, Manufacturing and Quality where relevant
- Designing and delivering demonstrations, user training, and structured UAT support
- Supporting data migration planning and validation, including templates, mapping, and reconciliation checks
- Working with technical resources to scope, test, and sign off integrations and customisations
- Managing day to day delivery priorities, risks and dependencies, keeping customers aligned with next steps
- Supporting post go live optimisation, continuous improvement, and roadmap planning
Essential experience:
- Odoo certification, or demonstrable progress towards certification with a clear plan to complete
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a functional consulting role delivering ERP implementations
- Evidence of at least one full end to end Odoo implementation, from discovery to go live
- Strong understanding of core business processes across at least two of finance, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, or service delivery
- Confident client facing communication, able to run workshops and challenge assumptions professionally
- Ability to work independently, manage workload, and produce documentation that developers and stakeholders can both act on
Desirable:
- Additional ERP or CRM certifications beyond Odoo
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and multi system environments
- Consulting background with structured delivery methods, for example Agile, Prince2, or similar
- Experience in manufacturing, quality control, inventory valuation, or complex operational environments
Working pattern: Remote, with UK working hours required. Occasional client visits may be needed depending on project.
Package: Competitive salary dependent on experience, with performance based incentives. Full support for ongoing certification and professional development.
